Fleet Management Program

Collage of Fleet projects at various VA facilities

In 2007, the Office of Asset Enterprise Management (OAEM) assumed responsibility for VA’s environmental and transportation management programs.  As a part of VA’s Green Management Program (GMP) office, the Fleet Management Program oversees all aspects of the vehicle fleet management program for VA.

Today, VA’s vehicle fleet consists of almost 17,000 owned and leased vehicles.  To supply these vehicles with alternative fuel, VA is investing in installingrenewable fuel pumps, especially E85 stations, throughout the country in accordance with the Energy Independence and Security Act of 2007.

Please use the links below to learn more about VA’s fleet management program and our ongoing efforts.
