VA Fleet Management Program

In 2007, the Office of Asset Enterprise Management (OAEM) assumed responsibility for VA’s environmental and transportation management programs.  As a part of VA’s Green Management Program (GMP) office, the Fleet Management Program oversees all aspects of the vehicle fleet management program for VA.

Today, VA’s vehicle fleet consists of almost 17,000 owned and leased vehicles.  To supply these vehicles with alternative fuel, VA is investing in installing renewable fuel pumps, especially E85 stations, throughout the country in accordance with the Energy Independence and Security Act of 2007.

Reporting

Executive Order 13031 requires Federal departments and agencies to report to OMB on the acquisition of alternative-fuel vehicles for use in the Federal fleet.

Each Agency is required by section 13218 of the Energy Policy Act of 1992, 42 USC 13218(b), to make their annual fleet AFV compliance report publicly available.  Below you will find links to VA’s current and prior year reports.
