VA Green Routine Pilot Kicks-Off in Cleveland

February 21, 2012

VA Green Routine LogoThe VA Green Routine initiative is launching a hospital-environment focused version at three VA medical centers as test-pilot sites:  Cleveland, OH; Loma Linda, CA; and Tucson, AZ.  This enhanced Green Routine pilot will focus on the unique needs of VA employees at the medical centers, and identify what “go green” actions can be incorporated through behavioral changes and messaging at each pilot site.

The first pilot site, Cleveland, held an on-site kick-off meeting on Tuesday, February 21, 2012.  The other sites have scheduled kick-off meetings in late February and early March.  The Green Routine Pilot will last until September 2012 and will result in an action guide for all VA medical centers.
